As stated in our bylaws, Global Play Foundation’s mission is to “promote the welfare in society and improve the living conditions of boys, girls, families and communities in disadvantaged regions and countries with the ultimate purpose to promote development, eradicate poverty and injustice and allow for a decent life for all.”

During the year 2007, the following activities and projects took place which helped us identify needs, create links with local communities and establish the basis on which to develop future activities.

In May 2007, a new volunteer trip to Mali took place with the participation of four representatives from the IESE Business School and a member of Global Play Foundation. During their stay, they conducted a study and needs assessment of the state of the communities and schools of Fatoma and Yendoumá.
